For those of you who have read my book, Darwin’s Flaw, you know that the main premise is that the female lead us out of the jungle and after a long period of adjustment to her body by standing on two legs and her over-reliance on the male gender for protection for her progeny, the female is quickly approaching the time period in our evolutionary history where she will once again resume her leadership roles for our species.
And, although, I crammed 10,000 years of evolution into one paragraph – and to the casually educated individual — that may seem like a very long time; but in terms of evolution, it is a mere blink of an eye.
When I composed this blog, Hillary Clinton, was running for the Democratic nominee for President of the United States and has an excellent change of obtaining that goal. Now, those of you who closely follow current events (over the past 50 years or so), know that there have been female leaders of many countries. But the possibility of Ms. Clinton becoming President of the United States is really a big deal.
The reason? The United States has the largest economy in the world and its culture has spread to every corner of the planet with amazing results toward the positive. That means a lot as to the possible political and religious changes that may impact gender relations around the world.
The United States is a leader of culture, — ideas that take concrete form – that ultimately influence the behaviors of those individuals whom live within those cultures.
Could you imagine a world without male-dominated religions that share their influence equally with women?
